Thanks to Santa Monica Studios and SCEA we now have the pleasure to re-play one of our favorite PS2 collections in hi-def… For those questioning the port by Bluepoint Games from the PS2 to the PS3, don’t. They’ve done a miraculous job upgrading the graphics, sound, and kept gameplay — including the mini-games — the same. The value alone is worth going out there and getting this great 2-for-1 game at $39.99. As we patiently wait for God of War III, did the “Collection” please the Gods?

With this news, you’ll be able to automatically update your Facebook News Feed with Trophy and PlayStation Store activity. So those Xbox 360 isn’t the only social networking console out there now, the Twitter update coming to the new Fall update is the PS3 Facebook’s competition.
Manny “Pac-Man” Pacquiao defeats Miguel Cotto for the WBO Welterweight Crown. Funny, EA predicted this already with their simulation video below…. The simulation outcome saw Pacquiao get the decision over Cotto through 12 Rounds 118-109. The real fight on Saturday, November 14th was stopped in the 12th after two knockdowns to Cotto during the fight left his face a bloody mess. Another successful prediction made by EA, shows how accurate their data collection has been over the years.
Modern Warfare 2 patch 1.03 is out but joining a party is still not working for many PS3 players. Well our faithful reader, Erodz85, sent us a tip. For some of you PS3 Modern Warfare 2 players having problems connecting with your friends online, we have a trick that will connect you with friends. The trick has been proven to work numerous times.
For those of you who picked up Modern Warfare 2 for the PS3 today, know that the update required, 1.01, has disabled PS3 Trophies. The developers, Infinity Ward, is aware of this issue and a patch is coming ASAP.
