Ugh. The cast needs to be made up of actors who are versatile, not very known or actors on the rise, and they have to be able to transform into the characters. They have to be able to take a 2D character and adapt to their facial features, emotions, and overall being. It’s also not only about the look, the script needs to incorporate the intelligence and cleverness that is Death Note.

I 100% want Ezra Miller for L. His bone structure is perfect. He’s quirky, lanky, very handsome and if you’ve seen “We Need To Talk About Kevin” he will be able to transform into L very easily. I think he is perfect for the role of L!! And he’s not very known! It’d be perfect instead of picking some overused, overrated actor like Johnny Depp who’s in every goddamn movie out there. I’m sick of seeing the same old faces.

I mean, Zac Efron isn’t too bad for the role of Light. I’ll accept it if he’s already been cast. He does have similar qualities of Light. With some good direction, I can see him transforming into Light. Who knows, maybe he can surprise us, and he is handsome. I’m open to it because he hasn’t really shown his full acting abilities. He has potential and I think a role this sinister and narcissistic will be good for him as a growing actor.

But I SWEAR TO GOD if Johnny fucking Depp is cast as L I will flip a shit. I don’t understand why people think he’s so amazing for L. Maybe for Ryuk, but they’ll most likely make Ryuk CG.

If they let me direct and write the script, everyone would be so satisfied with this movie.

Godbless Death Note 2014, I hope it doesn’t flop. I have high expectations.
