What was your most outrageous reaction during a gaming session? That will probably pale in comparison to this story.
A 28-year-old Chicago man named Joseph Johnson is being charged with first-degree murder. Joseph was playing video games with 24-year-old Danny Taylor when they got into an argument. Any normal person’s reaction to an argument stemmed from a gaming session should always be to play a round of “Rock-Paper-Scissors” and decide who the true victor is going by the universal ‘2 out of 3′ odds. Unfortunate for Danny, Joseph didn’t know those rules.
Joseph decided shooting Danny in the back of the head was the best solution to the argument. Little did Joseph know that when you shoot someone in the back of the head, they often stop living. The Cook County Medical Examiner pronounced Danny dead at the scene of his home at the Southside Apartments in Chicago.

Cannot make it to the potty on time? Usually you are sh*t out of luck but not any more! 29-year old medical student Rob Libfeld, came up with a solution for this current embarassing problem. His patients frequently would make doodies in their pants or would wet themselves, so he thought up this gem. Can’t find your way around the Supermarket nowadays? That is completely understandable, to me it seems like the water bottle section is moved constantly. Who has the time to be searching for your KY and your puppy chow for your beloved pooch! The UK’s scientists are working diligently to make this a possibility. This is aimed more for the physically and mentally disabled but also at the elderly.

Up until today, all we’ve heard about the gameplay in Batman: Arkham Asylum has been how it’s going to be more of a stealth-action game than a beat-em-up. That’s not to say the game won’t have some serious brawling going on.
In the latest trailer we finally get to see Batman beating the hell out of his opposition. There were some moments while watching the video where I couldn’t help but get chills at how deadly some of Batman’s moves are in this game.

Hot on the heels of Map Pack 1, comes this latest installment of Treyarch / Activision latest announcement of Map Pack 2 for Call of Duty: World at War. Call of Duty®: World at War Map Pack 2 will feature three multiplayer maps and one new Zombie map, and appear on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
“Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 2 underscores Treyarch’s commitment to delivering ongoing support, and new multiplayer and co-op Zombie gameplay experiences for our players,” said Treyarch Studio Head, Mark Lamia. “Our community has been outstanding and has driven support for Map Pack 1, as well as demand for additional downloadable content like Map Pack 2.”
Online, players will compete in “Banzai,” and fight for control of a tall, river bridge, deep within enemy territory; face down foes in a shattered Russian train yard in “Corrosion”; and struggle to control a bombed-out submarine base in the close-quarter map, “Sub Pens.” In “Shi No Numa” (Zombie Swamp), Imperial Zombies rise from misty swamps in an all new co-op experience, with a level that features a mix of traps, flaming Hell Hounds, Perk machines and the deadly, new Wunderwaffe DG-2, as well as 10 new Xbox 360 Achievements/PS3 Trophies that can be earned along the way.
Due to financial dealings amongst various developers, Widescreen Games has announced that the adaptation of the video game “The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf” for Playstation3 and Xbox360 consoles is being frozen. The Witcher: ROTWW was under development in partnership with Atari (publisher) and CDProjekt (creator of the original game on PC).

Time sure flies, it has been 3 years since the last season of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzimiya last aired. It seems like one year can be added to that, Sneaker magazine fails to make any mention of the title, which can be taken as a tacit admission of delay. By the time it comes out in 2020 will people still care? I remember loving this anime once, but now I barely remember any of it! I guess I will buy more Haruhi merchandise to hold me over for now. I am still trying to get a cute Haruhi nendoroid. Perhaps for my birthday coming up May 31st? Anyone?

I’m the type of gamer who used to burn every bush, and place a bomb on every rock in The Legend of Zelda. You see, my goal was to uncover all there was to Zelda and know there wasn’t a stone unturned. Zelda stage left, in come all that can be created with LEGO pieces, LEGO Batman developed by Traveller’s Tales. The relationship between Zelda and LEGO Batman are the secrets that could be. I love how the LEGO franchise can take a Blockbuster Action Movie, make em into LEGO toys, add a comedic twist and stir in a plot, not shaken. In LEGO Batman nearly EVERYTHING is breakable. The plants, the light fixtures and the barrels crumble into LEGO pieces which once you collect enough transforms you into a ‘Super Hero’.

Katamari Damacy is one of my hidden, guilty pleasures. The game has a pretty simple premise: roll up anything and everything that you lay your eyes on. In the past, Katamari Damacy games weren’t the most visually stunning, but we looked past that minor detail since the gameplay was so addictive.
Katamari Forever for the PS3 will bring Namco Bandai’s beloved game into the HD world by supporting full 1080p graphics. Not only that, but the game will allow you to roll things up on a much grander scale. You thought rolling up buldings was cool? Imagine rolling up entire continents and planets!
Now all I need is a 1080p HDTV so my eyes can fully enjoy the goodness of rolling up people, who wail their arms and scream bloody murder while I roll them up with my gigantic Katamari.
