Play As Your Xbox 360 Avatars In Guitar Hero 5

Guitar Hero 5 Avatars

Activision announced earlier this morning a little treat for Guitar Hero fans on the Xbox 360: The ability to import your Avatars to play within Guitar Hero 5.

For those of you who love to completely customize their Avatars, you’re in luck as Guitar Hero 5 will feature a full Create-a-Rocker mode where you can customize the instruments, clothing, and accessories for your avatar. The trailer that was released shows off the avatars in action.  It’s a little strange to see the lead singer moving his mouth in the traditional limitless Avatar way, but overall I think this experience is going to bring would-be rockstars even closer into the action when they see their Avatars on stage.

Be sure to mark your calendars on September 1st, as that is when Guitar Hero 5 is planning to be released.

iWetTshirts iWet T shirt App on iPhone is iTease

I feel wet, not so much here or here, right there!

Yes, we will continue to see all forms of Apple iPhone apps hit the apple store. No you can’t stop it. But why would you? For $0.99 everyone should have an application that takes a hose and can soak a hot model’s t-shirt and expose her… red bra? What the heck?

Conan O Brien by PixelTribe Conan O Brien an Anime Voice Actor? Oh its true!

Just when I thought I could not love Conan O’ Brien, host of NBC’s “The Tonight Show” anymore he brings us anime voice acting. Conan and co-host Andy visit Bang Zoom Studio, a company that does English dubbing for anime.  This studio surprisingly happens to be very close to their own studio, which actually isn’t that surprising since Anime Kingdom happens to be in LA.

What anime does he dub, you may ask? None other than Ghost in the Shell! Oh, comedy most certainly ensues after the jump as you see they put their own spin to Ghost in the Shell and you get to know how much Conan truly loves fish.

Review: Virtua Tennis 2009

Roger Federer

Wimbledon 2008 was phenomenal –  Roger Federer against Rafael Nadal in one of the best matches ever played.  Wimbledon 2009 was just as exciting — Roger Federer versus Andy Roddick in one of the longest matches played.  Federer picked up 15th Grand Slam.  The upcoming venue at the US Open 2009 in Flushing, NY will sure to be epic as 2009 is seeing greater audiences at stadiums as well as on TV.

As a tennis player, I thrive at any occasion to pick up a racket and smash serves down the line or volley countless times until I get the point.  So you can imagine how I take my personal dedication onto the Virtua Tennis series.  I haven’t played them all, but Virtua Tennis on the Dreamcast got me started.  So in my review, I’ll break down my “Likes” and “Dislikes”.  And be gentle, it’s my first review!

First Glimpse At Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Video

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Video

Infinity Ward released a first look at the multiplayer mayhem we could expect when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is released this fall.  In the video that was released, we learn that players will now be able to customize their kill streaks.  If you’ve played either Call of Duty: Modern Warfare or Call of Duty: World at War, you’ll know that the kill streaks were pretty much decided for you.

Judging by the screen that pops up during the video, it seems there will be a total of 15 unlockable kill streak perks.  As the game is still currently in production, that number could possibly change.  The video, which can be found after the break, focuses on the AC130 kill streak perk.

Gears of War 2 Dark Corners

With the release of the Dark Corners Map Pack on Xbox LIVE this week, players are not only treated to seven new multiplayer maps, but also a bonus deleted scene that was cut from the final version of Gears of War 2.  The deleted scene allows players to maneuver Marcus and Dom through the Road to Ruins either the traditional Gears way of barging through with guns-a-blazin, or donning Theron armor for a sneakier approach.

Halo Legends Anime Releasing in 2010; Master Chief Kawaii?

Halo Legends Anime

My two obsessions lately have been video games and anime.  If you told me there would be a day where one of the biggest video game franchises in recent history will get an anime treatment, I’d turn you to the Legend of Zelda cartoons from the late 80s to remind you what a horrible idea mixing video games and cartoons can be.  Halo Legends might be more than just a cartoon though.

Halo Legends is getting some seriously recognizable companies behind it: Studio 4C, Production I.G., BONES, Toei Animation, and Casio Entertainment.  All of these studios on their own have created amazing animes, and now, having them all work on Halo Legends is certainly going to be a treat for both gaming and anime fans.  Judging by the trailer (which can be seen after the break), all of the studios will create their own version of the Halo Legends story, similar to the Batman anime that was released a little while back.

Not much else is know about Halo Legends at the moment, but its trailer was just released today.
