Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) has been the hottest sport for the past 3 years and EA is trying to bring it to the 360 and PS3. Problem is there has been very little news concerning EA Sports MMA. To add to the mystery, EA has released some screens that shows off 2 fighters from their latest roster. Bobby Lashley (black guy) and Jeff Monson (white guy). Check out the full roster below:
In November of 2007, BioWare’s Mass Effect was released. The years leading up to its release were full of promises of an RPG experience unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. Stunningly beautiful graphics, a highly deep and rewarding dialog system, and a story that can change in the blink of an eye. That was just the tip of the iceberg.
It looks like that “exclusive” deal RockStar had with Microsoft for Episodes of Liberty City will soon come to an end. Coming to both PS3 and PC, Episodes of liberty city will arrive just in time for spring with an official release date of March 30th, 2010.
“It’s been a long time coming, but we are proud to finally deliver Episodes From Liberty City for the PC and PlayStation 3,” said Sam Houser. “We appreciate the patience of our PlayStation 3 and PC fans worldwide, and we look forward to putting the games in your hands this March.”
Ok, we at Perezstart.com have had some neat prizes and gifts to give away over the past year. We’ve given free games, access codes to new unreleased trailers, even Star Trek goodies. But sadly, we cannot compete with our friends over at 2K Sports.
RockStar is promising us that Red Dead Redemption will take us back to the Wild West and forget we now live in a civilization. Watching this video proves they’re making a strong impression and showing off what it’s like to wield the weapons our great-great-granpapi’s used to shoot. Well, not necessarily mine since we believe in peace and rainbows. No, we weren’t hippies, just people who like that kind of stuff. Nuff said, watch the vid wise guy!
In case you hadn’t noticed by the sidebars of PerezStart for the past couple of months, we have been patiently anticipating for the release of God of War III. During last year’s E3, Sony promised us a March 2010 release for the game, but I personally wouldn’t be happy until I could place an angry Kratos sticker on an exact date on my calendar. It looks like little angry Kratos finally has a spot on my calendar to sit on as Sony announced today March 16, 2010 will be when God of War III finally releases.
The questions isn’t whether anyone with a PS3 will pick up the game: The question is if you’ll pick up the standard version of the God of War III Ultimate Edition. For those of you who, like me, enjoy getting some extra goodies with your video game purchase, here’s a rundown of what to expect in the Ultimate Edition:
What, you’ve already blasted through The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned and Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot, and capped out at level 50 across all of Borderlands’ four character classes? Well you, good sir, are considerably more hardcore than I, and thusly tip my hat to you.
One can only imagine the languish and boredom you must feel with such considerable firepower at your behest, but don’t fret, Pandora still has some challenges left for you. Gearbox has openly confirmed that their next downloadable content pack will include a level cap of some kind. If WoW has been any indication of the progression of such things, we might expect ten more levels, and if this pack is in fact “the biggest DLC [Gearbox has] made”, there may actually be enough content to get you up all those levels.
If you were paying attention to gaming news over the last year you might have heard about a little game called Brütal Legend. There was a lot to be excited about in this one: the heavy metal fantasy setting, an inventive gameplay design and the voice talents of a little known actor named Jack Black. The discerning gamer had eyes for only two words on the back of this game’s box: Tim Schafer. A LucasArts alum and game designer from the days of DOS, Schafer also designed the subject of Steam’s current midweek madness sale Psychonauts.
Released on the PC April 26th 2000, Psychonauts is one of the overlooked classics of the last generation of consoles. Great writing, creative level design and a legitimately colorful cast of characters make Psychonauts worth your time. And at $2 USD it costs less than a beer and lasts a whole lot longer.
For days Apple-maniacs have speculated what Apple’s newest tablet device would be called. And today that speculation ends. The very sleek and thin tablet is going to be called the ‘iPad’. Larger than the iPhone, Apple CEO Steve Jobs claims the iPad will be like “holding the Internet in your hands.”
A couple of days ago, Cliff Bleszinski teased from his Twitter account that there was going to be “Kick ass news very soon”. The news wasn’t an announcement for a new Gears of War title, instead, it was news that Marcus and Dom from the Gears franchise would be making a cameo in the Xbox 360 version of Capcom’s upcoming Lost Planet 2.
Not much is known right now in regards to if they’ll play a pivotal role in Lost Planet 2, or if they’ll just be characters players can choose to bring along for some bug squashing fun. Regardless how they’ll interact with the Lost Planet 2 story, I think it’s easy to say with Marcus & Dom’s previous experience fighting grubs, they’ll do just fine with what Lost Planet 2 has to throw at them.
