Steve Jobs iPad

For days Apple-maniacs have speculated what Apple’s newest tablet device would be called.  And today that speculation ends.  The very sleek and thin tablet is going to be called the ‘iPad’.  Larger than the iPhone, Apple CEO Steve Jobs claims the iPad will be like “holding the Internet in your hands.”

Equipped with a touch screen and a new feature patented by Apple called the proximity screen, user’s will be able to control the iPad before the user’s actually touch the screen. The iPad will be available with 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB of Flash storage. It will also include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a speaker, microphone, compass and 30-pin connector to plug into iPod accessories.

  1. this is really cool and exciting! I can’t wait to see it in person when they release it in a couple of months. it’s like having an iphone but bigger! Although it’s disappointing that you can’t use any of the adobe programs with it so that part sucks. Overall, it’s still a cool gadget to have! 😀
