Yes, we will continue to see all forms of Apple iPhone apps hit the apple store. No you can’t stop it. But why would you? For $0.99 everyone should have an application that takes a hose and can soak a hot model’s t-shirt and expose her… red bra? What the heck?
So it’s been a while since E3 and what have we found buried in between our couches? Receipt for Crystal Pepsi Six Pack, a left pinky toenail and a little rumor that has your favorite 1982 classic title, Choplifter, making it’s way back onto the gaming scene. For those too young to remember, Choplifter was a game that featured..you guessed it… a chopper lifting poor civilians from the ground and transporting them to a safe zone marked with an “H” symbol and a building with an American flag.

Doom Resurrection is a completely new Doom story that takes a lot of its influence from Doom 3, as you can tell by the screenshot above and the trailer below. The controls for the game is said to have a mixture of touch and accelerometer inputs. The word on the street is Doom Resurrection should be making its way to the Apple App Store some time next week, so keep a lookout if you want to frag some imps while you’re sitting on a beach somewhere in an exotic locatoin you scamp!

I have to admit, these kicks are pretty cool. But not $2,500 cool, I mean you can by a used car for that money, go on a shopping spree, buy a bedroom set you know stuff like that. EA’s decision to skip the dreaded “Spore DRM” (Digital Rights Management) and instead going with a disc-based copy protection just shows that the customer comes first. Similar to The Sims 2, there will be a serial code and there will not be any online authentication needed.
