There’s a time in a Nintendo Fans life when you go back to the well to see if there’s water left. If you’re still reading my philosophical first line, you’ll know I’m talking about the once “epic” Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo Emulation System (NES). Coming later this month will be the New Super Mario Bros. for the Wii and we got some screens to show it off.
We saw. We played. We were impressed. Very impressed! I can tell you right now, God of War III will be a MUST HAVE game in March 2010. Kratos as we know him is back, with the scars to prove it running down his stomach. The opening menu shows off Kratos in fantastic graphics. Starting the story mode is very graphically satisfying. I’ve always loved the God of War series for getting right to it. No explanation, no reason, just straight up killing from the get go and God of War III is no different. You’re not given any story line nor have any idea what your main objective is. Except to kill those who are put in your way.
Ok PerezStart.com followers. There’s good news and bad news. Good news is there’s a God of War 3 Demo that we have been playing and loving with our official impressions coming Monday. We’re only a few weeks away for the epic release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Here are 8 fantastic screenshots that mostly Xbox 360 and PS3 owners will appreciate. As far as you PC gamers, you’re probably still upset over the non-dedicated server issue. Along with no PC mods, Infinity Ward has upset their PC community members and in turn they have filed several petitions explaining their frustrations. This mod made for PC was created by the Germans — the BlackMonkeys — and they’re calling it “Galactic Warfare”. Perfectly named, I say. It features real Star Wars skins over COD4 players. What’s better are the guns. Recreated from the Star Wars Galaxy, you can shoot Rebels using the storm troopers patented laser rifle, DLT-20a.
The image above nearly caused me to think I missed the biggest point-n-click adventure game. But after some research, I realized this fan made iteration of Han Solo Adventures was not made by LucasArts but is currently being developed for free play by Stacy Davidson.
Lego Indiana Jones 2 has rolled up crap too!
Last week’s gaming convention in Cologne, Germany was called GamesCom. What did we get from the trip? How about the runs and these 4 screenshots of Lego Indy 2. As always, the game will be featured on nearly every platform including: The Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS, PSP, and PC. It will also feature levels from the latest Indiana Jones film.
The game is slated for a November 6th release date.
