It seems the Wii can output HD signals… with a catch of course. The 720p screenshots of the New Super Mario Bros. Wii were captured off an emulator. That emulator is known as the Dolphin. With most emulators, the Dolphin’s system requirements are pretty intense. While we don’t promote the use of any piracy, the screens are more of a preview of what “may” come. It also shows the games were made with the ability to support the 720p graphics, so why the Wii was made to top 480p is still a question.

Ever get mixed up pressing a button on your controller? Triangle instead of Square? Well, you’ll be surprised to know many gamers still do. For the most part, I’m very comfortable with the PS3 controller. I’ve occasionally pressed the wrong button during a QTE (Quick Time Event). You know, where you have to press an onscreen button at that exact moment. Well Heavy Rain is full of QTEs and you better get familiar with the layout of the controller before you play.

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) has been the hottest sport for the past 3 years and EA is trying to bring it to the 360 and PS3. Problem is there has been very little news concerning EA Sports MMA. Ever visited Tatooine? Me too! Through the glorious (before it was ruined) Star Wars Galaxies. There was so much scum and villainy on that planet, I knew I was there. Cantina? Only the best “entertainers” dancing would infiltrate those venues.

It’s true, Mega Man 10 will not be exclusive to the Wii like some thought. In fact, it will be coming to the big 3. Nintendo’s WiiWare, Microsoft’s Xbox LIVE Arcade, and Sony’s PS3. Keeping the same 2D graphics, Mega Man 10 screens do resemble previous Mega Man titles and their retro look. But rest assure, these graphics were done purposely in keeping the tradition going with our side scrolling hero.
