The teaser trailer for the long awaited Conan: The Barbarian movie has finally hit the internet. A smokey presentation with glimpses of characters, some decent dialogue that kinda tells you what kind of man Conan is, and of course the bad-ass music is all included. While it doesn’t show much of the characters or any of the action scenes, it does give you an idea of the how actor Jason Mamoa looks as Conan. Jason Momoa is best known for his role in the Stargate: Atlantis Series as Ronon Dex.
The reboot of the franchise will be presented in 3D this upcoming summer. Slated for release in August of 2011. My hopes for this movie is that it does well and surpasses the original film. Just because I look forward to seeing more Conan movies and especially looking forward to the Robert Rodriguez “Red Sonja”.

I haven’t decided whether or not to be excited about this movie. The original Conan will be tough to replace with a reboot. All these reboots going on lately, I have to wonder if Hollywood is running out of creativity.
