Nintendo’s Press conference started off with a bomb.  The announcement of the latest Zelda game called, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword hit the stage with a huge applause.  The use of your WiiMotion Plus will direct your sword and your handy sword will be controlled by the Wii’s Nunchuck.  Again the “Z” button will allow you to focus in on your enemy…

To continue on the games controls, When you hold Link’s sword up to the sky, you can charge it up with solar energy and throw sun beams at enemies.  Similarities to “Twilight Princess” are there but Skyword Sword now introduces an item selection wheel instead of applying items to certain buttons.  Hold the B button will allow you to use the item once it’s been selected.

As previously expected, Zelda: Skyward Sword will be releasing in 2011.  I guess there won’t be a Zelda:Dancing Link game after all icon sad E3 2010: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Announced

  1. Sean

Zelda is great and all that but I think everybody would rather hear about the new GoldenEye that they announced.

  2. Been looking forward to this for a while. I hope Gannondorf isn’t the main villain again. I would like someone new. If the photo is the new style, then it looks awesome. I still wouldn’t classify LOZ as a rpg, but the rpg elements they are continually using to update the game are very well done.
