The “big sell” for Nintendo at last year’s E3 was the Wii MotionPlus. With the Wii MotionPlus, players would be able to play games that take full advantage of the hardware to a much finer detail than without the Wii MotionPlus. The presentation was also shown with Wii Sports Resort, which was a perfect way to showcase what the Wii MotionPlus could do.
Nintendo today announced the release date for both the Wii MotionPlus peripheral and Wii Sports Resort. Wii MotionPlus will be released on June 8th for $19.99, while Wii Sports Resort follows up a little over a month later on July 26th for $49.99. Anyone planning on picking up either the Wii MotionPlus or Wii Sports Resort? Be sure to chime in the comments.
