King of Kong Fans, Rejoice!

If you are a true retro gamer, you probably have your DVD copy of The King of Kong: A Fist Full of Quarters, resting comfortably in your DVD player for quick viewing. This film brought drama, human psychology and retro gaming all together in a most interesting plot. Well, the script is still being written, as Steve Wiebe will attempt to win his title back from the evil
gaming legend, Billy Mitchell. The live attempt will be made a the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) on June 2nd.
This would be Wiebe’s 5th attempt to break the record. His 4th record attempt landed him a score of (1,000,200) it was only the 2nd time that a million was broken in public. Can Wiebe defeat his long time nemesis? Will he get the kill screen before the he breaks the record? Stay tuned to G4TV on June 2!

I really would like to see Wiebe take the title back, especially at E3!
Part of me likes Wiebe because he’s just a dorky guy who never really won anything in his life. Another part of me likes Mitchell because he is a character and really doesn’t give a damn what people think. I got a funny email from him once actually.
