Black Ops ‘Escalation’ DLC Zombie Map, Call of the Dead

OK, I’ll admit my obsession with over the top Zombie flicks. But I was never a fan of Call of Duty’s Zombie mode. I feel those lobbies are filled with 8 year olds exclaiming how “cool” Zombies can be. I was going to write off any Zombie map packs that Escalation would have included, til now. Activision has mixed up their normality and have spiced up the way Zombie maps will be played.

Escalation will include the Zombie Map pack named “Call of the Dead”. Why am I looking forward to this version? The cast. Four well known Zombie slayers will be portrayed in the upcoming map pack. Those celebrities include, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Danny Trejo, even Freddy Krueger Robert Englund. Check out the vid below for the Grindhouse-like trailer.

On May 3rd, download “Escalation”, the second Call of Duty: Black Ops map pack, to play as the zombie-killing dream-team of Sarah Michelle Gellar, Robert Englund, Michael Rooker, and Danny Trejo against a new and unnerving zombie menace. Set in a mysterious, ice-covered, remote Siberian island and inspired by legendary writer and director George A. Romero, a group of four fearless explorers fight for their lives amidst an army of bloodthirsty Soviet zombies.
The Escalation Content Pack will be available first on Xbox Live on May 3, 2011.
