Rumors were swirling the net this week concerning Borderlands 2 but 2K Games made it official with their announcement today. Borderlands 2 will be released in 2012 closer to the second quarter on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. So far, a logo is all we have to go on but more will be announced at Gamescom in Germany on August 17th – 21st.
