What, you’ve already blasted through The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned and Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot, and capped out at level 50 across all of Borderlands’ four character classes? Well you, good sir, are considerably more hardcore than I, and thusly tip my hat to you.
One can only imagine the languish and boredom you must feel with such considerable firepower at your behest, but don’t fret, Pandora still has some challenges left for you. Gearbox has openly confirmed that their next downloadable content pack will include a level cap of some kind. If WoW has been any indication of the progression of such things, we might expect ten more levels, and if this pack is in fact “the biggest DLC [Gearbox has] made”, there may actually be enough content to get you up all those levels.
If you haven’t had a chance to play Borderlands yet, check it out. It’s really managed to strike an awesome balance between Halo’s vehicle combat, Left 4 Dead’s co-op multiplayer, World of Warcraft’s loot whoring and talent trees, and Fallout’s gritty 60s-era post-apocalypse vibe, with a whole lot more cussin’. And you like cussin’, right?
