Call of Duty World at War

PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 fans will be glad to know that until November 1st, that can pick up Map Pack 1, 2 and 3 for $4.99 each! Or 400 Microsoft points for those who don’t understand the math behind them.  Myself included.

For one week only (offer ending November 1, 2009), Map Packs 1, 2, and 3 will be Half-Off in both the XBL Marketplace and the PlaystationStore*. So if you are missing one, we hope this makes it a bit easier to complete your collection!

  1. I'd actually be excited about this if I were into the game. It plays very well, don't get me wrong, but I could never really see it being close to or anywhere near as good as COD 4 online. Don't really know why, perhaps it's because of the whole WW2 thing is just played out. Though there are some games that execute it very well by adding their only twist such as Wolfenstein.

  2. I see your point, but with the same engine your getting the same great gameplay just in ww2. At first I hated the dogs perk but it grew on me. In contrast the heli in cod4 is by far the better perk.

  3. HAHA! Exactly, Heli FTW! Anyway, I understand I'm getting the same gameplay but it just isn't as pleasing to me as COD 4 is. Though, I do absolutely love the campaign mode. Anyway, it might just be that I suck on W@W (LOL) but I've never really put in the time to get better either, it just doesn't fit well with me.
