It’s been confirmed. Zombie mode will be coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops on November 9th, 2010. “Zombies” first made appearance on Call of Duty: World at War with great popularity. The Zombie mode games from World at War set you in an abandoned building defending the fort from infected Zombies as the ripped down windows fortified with wooden planks. This gut wrenching gameplay took place online with 3 other players.
Gamers can also experience an all new co-op game in Call of Duty: Black Ops Multiplayer with Combat Training. Up to 6 players can rank up in this dedicated mode battling against enemy AI. The following was mentioned in Activision’s Press Release:
“Zombies have been such a hit with our community that we were committed to bringing brand new zombie experiences to Call of Duty: Black Ops,” says Treyarch Studio Head, Mark Lamia. “We’ve taken extra special care to retain the essential ingredients of our Zombie game, and have also crafted a nice surprise for the fans.
Today’s news follows the announcement that four updated co-op maps from Call of Duty: World at War will be made available as part of the Call of Duty®: Black Ops Prestige and Hardened Editions, along with the premium edition Steelbooktm Case, custom Black Ops limited edition medal and an exclusive Black Ops Avatar outfit.”
Call of Duty: Black Ops is a game that should be in everyone’s wishlist this November. Medal of Honor is making a strong push to compete with the First Person shooter, but the name COD is the hotter game for the past 4 years. Make sure you pick it up!
Question for you hardcore COD fans out there. Did you miss Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2?
