Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 Revealed Through Leaked Teaser Trailer [Update]

When it comes to mash-up fighting series, one that most fans will agree is the greatest is the Marvel vs. Capcom series.  Marvel vs. Capcom 2 hit the arcade scene 10 ago, and it looks like we’re finally going to be getting the sequel we’ve been looking for as a leaked trailer has hit the net for Capcom’s unofficially announced Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

As you see in the leaked debut trailer, fan favorites Wolverine, Ryu, Iron Man, Morrigan, and The Hulk have made their triumphant return to the next installment of the Marvel vs. Capcom series, along with fighting newcomer Chris from Capcom’s Resident Evil series.  No other fighters have been confirmed outside the debut trailer, but I’m sure we’ll hear about Marvel vs. Capcom 3’s roster soon.

[Update: The news has officially hit the wire.  It looks like we can expect Marvel vs. Capcom 3 to be made available for the PS3 & Xbox 360 for Spring 2011.  Official press release after the break]

    can’t wait to hear what characters will be available. Maybe there is still hope yet for a DC vs marvel game. Or Marvel vs DC vs Capcom vs Tatsunoko. The more the merrier! The trailer looks great, was hoping they would go for the Street Fighter 4 style. But things change all the time.

    why PS3 and 360??? If they made SFIV for PC why not making this one too?
