Namco Bandai Home

PlayStation  3 owners who love old-school games are certainly in a treat soon.  Namco Bandai announced today they are going to release Namco Museum Essentials on the PlayStation Network, as well as make their mark in the PlayStation Home with their own space.

Namco Museum Essentials will offer such old-school classics as Dig Dug, Pac-Man, and Galaga.  Xevious will also be available, as well as an all-new Xevious: Resurrection which brings the game into the HD-era by offering 1080p graphics and enhanced gameplay.

The PlayStation Home destination will serve as a hub for all of their upcoming downloadable media.  Arcade machines will be all over the space and will offer trial versions of the Namco Museum Essential titles.  The PlayStation Home destination and Namco Museum Essentials will both be made available in July 2009.
