Nowadays, having just multiplayer in a video game is pretty much a given, especially if it’s a shooter. Spicing up the multiplayer with different modes, including co-op, is something that we look for when we plan on putting money down on our games. But what good are all of those multiplayer games if your friends are either in class, work, or actually living a life outside of gaming? That’s where playback comes in. This isn’t a new concept by any means, but it certainly is something that can prolong the life of a game even more so.
In this latest trailer for Uncharted 2, the focus is on the playback ability in the game. From what I see in the menu, it also seems like you can take snapshots from the playback to save your favorite moment. Hopefully, Uncharted 2 will also allow you to save your video since even though a picture is worth a thousand words, video must be worth a million.
Damn, that was deep.
