Michael J. Fox will be lending his voice for two characters in the final episode of Back To The Future The Game. AJ Locascio has shinned in his role of Marty but it’ll be nice to hear “The Fox” contribute to an already fantastic game. I was excited yet not surprised to hear Michael J. Fox lend his voice since he’s done that for his previous movie roles as Stuart Little. But two roles in BTTF The Game? Telltale’s creative director, Dave Grossman, confirmed the dual appearance during a preview of Telltale’s coming work at E3 2011.
In “Outatime,” the fifth chapter due on PC, Mac and iPad June 23, McFly and Doc Brown have had a falling out and are working at cross purposes, Grossman said. A behind-the-scenes trailer showed the two meeting an older character, voiced by Fox, driving a truck.
“It’s really kind of a coup for us,” Grossman said at E3. He added that Bob Gale, who co-wrote the original films and is working on this game, and Christopher Lloyd, who portrays Dr. Emmett Brown in both, may have lobbied Fox to join the project.
Telltale had to write Fox’s characters and lines for his review before he would agree to appear, Grossman said. “He wanted to make sure it was a good part and a worthwhile thing.”
