snakebyte’s Premium Bluetooth/Infrared Remote Makes Sense!

Far too long have I dreaded a Logitech Harmony remote.  Yes, my living room is cluttered with more remotes than a Radio Shack clearance section.  But I’m a practical tech guru.  I love my gadgets but not ones that contradict my personal flow.  If I’m looking for a true All-in-one remote I should not be expected to shell out additional cash for hardware to make something — all-in one remote — work. This is where snakebyte comes in.  Just announced at CES 2011, this innovative Bluetooth/Infrared Universal remote control contends for the true All-in-one remote.  Did I mention it will also support an additional 5 A/V devices.

Li-ion battery chargeable through USB and update-able firmware.  Look out for my review, becasue I plan on pushing this guy to the limit!

The snakebyte™ Premium Bluetooth Remote will retail for $49.99 and will be available April 2011 at and other e-tailers.

Key features of the snakebyte™ Premium Bluetooth Remote include:

  • Backlit LC display and buttons with motion sensor activation
  • LC display indicates time and room temperature
  • Controls PlayStation 3 via Bluetooth technology
  • Learnable IR remote control circuit for up to six infrared controlled devices
  • Built-in Li-ion battery that can be charged with USB port
  • Firmware can be updated via USB

  1. Hi MrJuanDRFul (awesome btw) – I work with Logitech Harmony and just wanted to chime in. I’m guessing your issue is not wanting the IR extender system? I can see wanting to have a system all in one spot, but in case you do have technology spread around the room the mini-blasters can also be an advantage. In any case, I’m happy to set you up with a Harmony review device if you’d like to test it out now, or once you get your hands on the new guy.
