Battling knee problems, has not stopped this ‘Tiger’ from roaring through 91 holes and clinch a victory at the US Open. His will showed how strong and competitive someone can be when they set a goal. Which is the reason why I plan to pick up Tiger Woods ’09. One of the new features beside better online multiplayer via EA SPORTS™ GamerNet, is the addition of Tiger Woods’ performance coach, Hank Haney.
Looking to drive the ball long and straight? Trying to nail the pin with the approach shot? An all-new addition to this year’s game, Hank Haney will assist gamers as they hit the links and try to advance their career to win the FedExCup. In Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 09, a player’s skill level is dynamic, constantly adjusting throughout the round just as it would during a real afternoon out on the links. Following each round, Haney will deliver customized feedback on a player’s performance. This feedback system allows all gamers, rookies or PGA TOUR pros, to compete and enjoy the game at any level.
Coming August 26th to the PS3, X360, PS2, PSP, and Wii. Let’s see if Hank can get me to stop tossing my 8 iron into the bushes!
[UPDATE] – Tiger Woods’ injury has forced him to re-examine his knee. He will have season-ending surgery to repair a torn ligament in his left knee that he injured 10 months ago. He also suffered a double stress fracture of his left tibia two weeks before the U.S. Open, ignoring doctors’ advice to take six weeks off to let it heal.
