You forgot to mention that it take buying 2 hard drives, 1 to back up your current purchases and then the 2nd for the PS3..

Everyone seems to always for get that little part..
    waste of mony

why not use the current hard drive as the backup? I don’t see what your point is.. You are trying to say you need to buy 2 hard drives in addition to the existing one?

    doesn’t make much sense

@ Brian, did you watch the video? Run the “Backup..” program on the PS3 to a flash drive. Of course you will lose all your demos, unless you know how to ghost it like I plan to do…

Most people have a flash drive laying around so backing up you saved game data should not be a problem. On small fact, remember that you only have 5 redownloads from the PSN. So if this is your first swap, you’re good. If you’re on your 3rd, you may want to do a full backup, as your download limit will be down to 2 and anything can happen…

I would like to remind you guys, to be careful unscrewing the hard drive from the enclosure. I personally have stripped out the screws even though i was careful to not. Just be careful and be sure to not attempt to unscrew until you’re sure the screwdriver is the correct size.
