Welcome Back, PlayStation Store Back Online!

It feels like it’s been a long time and it has been, but the PlayStation Store is finally back online!  It’s been officially 43 days since the PlayStation Network was hacked and now the final piece –PS Store– is operational.  Most of you are interested in the “Welcome Back” program Sony promised us during the outage.  We’ll break down what that entails and when it goes live along with the newest items to hit the store.

For starters, the “Welcome Back” program is not live yet.  Sony is in the final stages of testing and will make the program live very soon.  To hold you over, many new Demo’s, Free trials, avatars etc. are now available.  Look to tomorrow for an additional update where gearing up for E3.  By the way, Sony’s Press Conference will be 5 hours.  Their longest ever!  That will be an event we’ll cover here for sure, as well as the other E3 breaking news stories.

For PlayStation Plus Members there’ll be two full game trials available.  Those games are:

  • Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2
  • Dante’s Inferno Full Game Trial

Pirates of the Caribbean demo is now live and those looking for Back To The Future Episode 3 is now live as well.  You can find the chock full of updates on the PlayStations Blog.  Click here to check them all out.

Stay tuned for the official “Welcome Back” program hitting the live wire.

Well unfortunatly the demos may be up to tide us over but it would seem theres enough errors to keep us from using or downloading any demo.

Not sure what you mean. Are you not currently permitted to download the demo’s? or are you insisting the PSN will go down again?
