Clannad fans everywhere had Kyou Fujibayahi, as their favorite character in the series and rightfully so. Who does not love a tsundre character that is cute as a button, can cook, and can drop kick anyone in a heart beat. Not to mention if you have a pet pig you have to be unique. Puhi Puhi! Veteran cosplayer Saya, is doing a great job cosplaying as Kyou, she went as far as to get purple contacts! Now that is hardcore my friends. Fans enjoy more Kyou after the jump, sorry no Botan included. I personally think she should have taken a picture drop kicking someone. So no pantsu this time, maybe next time, fellahs.

In my honest opinion, SEGA’s Valkyria Chronicles was one of last year’s most underappericated games. It combined a tactical RTS with RPG elements and anime styling into a fantastic game. Not only was the gameplay fun and challenging at the same time, but the story was one that I will never forget.
With the recent airing of the Valkyria Chronicles anime in Japan, YouTube user HighSierra098 combined footage from the Valkyria Chronicles game with the OP to CLANNAD. The video does a great job at capturing the style of the original source, which I’ve gone ahead and added after the break.
Just when you thought you had seen the last of “Clannad After Story”, another ova is announced! The television series will include a new “Another World: Kyou Arc” episode – an alternate continuity story starring character Kyou Fujibayashi! The bonus episode was formally announced during this past weekend’s “Kono Machi no Negai ga Kanau Basho” (This Town’s Wish Will Come True Here) publicity event.

We all remember the cute yet embarrassing episode where Kyou and Tomoya were trapped in the Gym room closet as she falls and lies there seductively, yet helpless on the floor. She then asking him to please not to get any ideas. Kyou, was one of my favorite characters in the series, she was strong, athletic and can kick major butt! Poor Sunohara took all her beatings time and time again but hey there are some people into that sort of thing! You can find it for pre-order on Jbox.com, she is a 1/7 scale figure and will run you $85 beanies.
Chobits revolves an alternate reality where robots and humans coexist, we are actually closer to this reality nowadays then we think! The robots in this series are called persacoms and they help humans in their day to day errands. Some happen to be maids, nurses, hand held devices as well as companions and lovers. There was a special persacom named (Chi) , that was thrown away onto the street. A poor college boy from the country named (Hideki) finds her, makes her his own, boots her up in a peculiar way and takes care of her at his home. Chi you later find out is no ordinary persacom, she is one without a disk and is programmed to have human emotions , the main one being love. This anime is filled with laughter, drama, and romance. Could a human really fall in love with a persacom? Why don’t you find out! This was one of the first animes that hooked me in to the otaku world and still one of my favorites. That is why it is number 1!
2. Death Note
Death note could have easily been the first on my list, it was a very close call. The story revolves around Light, a college student who finds a notebook lying on the ground coined “Death Note”.He “reluctantly” picks it up and that is when havoc ensues! Light can basically write anyone’s name down in the book with his or her face in mind and kill him or her off with the jot of a pen.Later on it becomes a whole moral issue on who he kills, why and a very entertaining cat and mouse game between Light and a detective names L. Think of CSI and Law & Order multiplied by a thousand. It is one of the most exciting intellectual dramas I have encountered and extremely recommended!
