New Borderlands DLC Released: The Secret Armory of General Knoxx

generalknoxx hed info 600x239 New Borderlands DLC Released: The Secret Armory of General Knoxx

Some fresh downloadable content from Gearbox Software is now available for everybody’s favourite cell-shaded sci-fi shooter, Borderlands. The Secret Armory of General Knoxx brags new enemies, bosses, missions, guns, and landscapes. As expected, the level cap has been bumped up, but by a very curious amount: 11, making the new cap level 61. There’s also a new vehicle that looks like some kind of ATV or Jeep. Personally, I just wrapped The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, and am sniffing around Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot, but considering the reviews I’ve read were less than stellar, I may just skip it and go right to Knoxx. The general consensus about this DLC so far is that it is the biggest and hardest to date.

Those who have maxed out their characters in Borderlands will be happy to pick up The Secret Armory of General Knoxx for the extra levels-worth of loot and gameplay – you can grab it from Steam for $9.99.

Video trailer after the jump!

Borderlands to Raise Level Cap in Next DLC

UPRIGHTS Borderlands to Raise Level Cap in Next DLCWhat, you’ve already blasted through The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned and Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot, and capped out at level 50 across all of Borderlands’ four character classes? Well you, good sir, are considerably more hardcore than I, and thusly tip my hat to you.

One can only imagine the languish and boredom you must feel with such considerable firepower at your behest, but don’t fret, Pandora still has some challenges left for you. Gearbox has openly confirmed that their next downloadable content pack will include a level cap of some kind. If WoW has been any indication of the progression of such things, we might expect ten more levels, and if this pack is in fact “the biggest DLC [Gearbox has] made”, there may actually be enough content to get you up all those levels.

Mass Effect 2

I’ve been pondering the purchase of Mass Effect 2 Purchase Mass Effect 2 before you lose out! Free DLC if you do. for a couple of weeks now. After I played and completed Mass Effect 1 within 3 weeks, I thought “Great game. But I’m looking for a deal to come along”… until now. It seems EA is finally coming around to gamers who purchase titles “new” versus “used” by way of in-game incentives. For those who purchase a new copy Mass Effect 2 you’ll be greeted to know of some DLC and something called “The Cerberus Network,” an in-game portal that will funnel Mass Effect 2 daily messages, downloadable content and news about DLC to players.

DJ Hero David Guetta DLC Out Now! Now Even You Can Be a Sexy Bitch!

David Guetta DJ Hero David Guetta DLC Out Now! Now Even You Can Be a Sexy Bitch!

Just when you thought DJ Hero could not get any sweeter they add David Guetta into there DLC line up. You might know him from the popular diddy “Sexy Bitch” or “Sexy Chick” as the radio portrays. I personally prefer the original version, you tell me do you think it is more powerful to be a Sexy Bitch or  a mere Sexy chick?  Not enough oomph if you tell me. I will forgive DJ Hero for including the ” Sexy Chick” counterpart because of the kiddies that play it, because along with that you also get ” When love takes over” featuring Kelly Rowland, which is looking pretty cute nowadays, and “On the Dancefloor” featuring Will.I.Am & Apl De Ap.

It is a pretty neat addition to the already addictive tunes on DJ Hero and for the price, it is not to shabby. It is only 480 Microsoft points or $5.99 on the Playstation Store. Have to be fair to both consoles what can I say, especially since MrJuandrful has been ever so kind to lend me his PS3. Now if only I can get past easy mode in DJ hero. I have reached  5 stars so far and am pretty amazed of all the play-lists I have yet to play! What can I day I give it  2 thumbs up and if you are into music at all and good music that is, I would get this DLC.

Check out a youtube video of ” Sexy Chick” on DJ Hero below to tantalize your ear drums for more.

GTA IV Ballad of Gay Tony

The Great Melting Pot is Back

By Carlos Macias

Rockstar Games dropped the finale to the GTA IV saga with The Ballad of Gay Tony a few weeks ago and, amongst plenty of competition, concluded with a mere whimper.

It’s not a bad expansion pack. On the contrary, it’s actually rather good and one deserving the Rockstar insignia stamped on it, but compared to GTA IV proper and The Lost and Damned expansion it can only ever hope to hold up as third place.

Buzz Quiz World

We all remember Buzz! Quiz World is definitely it.  The PS3 game will add 5,000 new questions and will provide an “enhanced” online mode with new game modes.  Expect a Wheel of Fortune type of game, where the letters will appear slowly to make out a word.

Fallout 3 Point Lookout Screens

Bethesda is set to release their new DLC entitled Point Lookout on June 23rd, and they were kind enough to whet our appetites with some new screens.

In Point Lookout, players will explore the swampy locale of Maryland’s Point Lookout State Park.  Point Lookout is said to have a more horror-vibe to it, so if you didn’t think walking around a post-apocolyptic Washington, D.C. , then you may just have a hair or two standing when you visit Point Lookout.
