It all begins tomorrow, Erick Scarecrow will put 3 Soopa Maria Warhol APs up for sale on his ebay page. If you are not as lucky and do not snatch one of those up, you luckily get a second chance on Dec.28th. On that blessed day, you get a chance to get your gritty hands on a Soopa Maria Lanna which is seen above, I would say an adorable version of Luigi. Both you will be able to purchase at his shop, which is a rarity because those Soopas are a dime a dozen and fly off the shelves like hotcakes. Perhaps there is still a chance a loved one can get me the Warhol AP version before Christmas, so it can be all pretty in pink with my other Scarecrow collectibles. I will fight to the death to win either figure, I wish you all luck! Picture of Warhol AP after the break. P.S. Follow Erick on Twitter here.

Just announced Esc-Toy and Sony bring the ever so popular Nathan Drake into 3-D format, of course I mean vinyl. The Nathan Drake figure is set to come out this Fall, and hopefully will coincide with Uncharted 2: Among Thieves October 13,2009 release.
This bad ass figure is coming in four different variations: Original Drake, Electric Drake, Nite Time Drake and Naughty Dog Exclusive. As with all of Erick Scarecrow’s customs, they will be limited edition items. Only 2,500 pieces will be available worldwide. Words cannot describe how ecstatic I am about this news. I am truly excited that our friends over at Esc-Toy have made such a great partnership with Sony! May this be the first of many future endeavors and accomplishments! I raise my glass to you!
After the jump see the rest of Drake’s variations.

Lucky us Erick Scarecrow has recently put his Medusa “Black Mamba” colorway back on sale. Lucky me, received a review copy to share with all of you. The 10″ vinyl figure has several points of articulation and is one bad ass , shut your mouth of a figure . First let’s focus on her beautiful white pale skin. Those who know anything about the Asian culture know that the paler the skin one has the more beautiful they are perceived in that culture. She has a gorgeous set of peepers with a small mole on her right cheek.
Medusa’s hair is red and black, braided with hissing snakes popping out at the ends of it. Quite a hairdo if I say so myself. She also has a long Black Mamba snake wrapped around her person with the head of it laying on her right hand. Then wrapping along her back to left shoulder and shoe. She stares tenderly at her beautiful beast.

I know it seems like many a moon ago, but you may recall that back in February we ran a contest looking for an artist to draw on my Soopa figure. Out of all the artists that submitted samples of their work, one particular artist’s work really caught our attention. Jarold Guzman had a very unique artistic style that we loved. The fact that he is a true gamer at heart pretty much sealed the deal.

I write to you all very honored and excited to bring you this review of Erick Scarecrow’s Muraida Magma figure. I was delighted to receive this amazingly awesome vinyl figure from Esctoy.com for review this past Saturday! Not only is Old School Kaiju Muraida Magma limited to only 200pcs but it is 100% bad ass! When I opened the box my eyes lit up with delight because the figure was a lot bigger than expected, towering 10 inches tall and the delicious smell of vinyl brought back memories of my youth with toys made of the same material. Muraida Magma is part of the Old School Kaiju series which is a mixture of old school hip hop and kaiju, which in itself meaning monster in Japanese.

So, you thought it did not get any better with the original Super Maria Sato figure Erick Scarecrow came up with! Take a look of this bad boy or girl if you will! Only 12 pcs sold in Japan and they sold out it in just 60 measley seconds after they were released online at www.tomenosuke.com
Now that is what I call a collectible! Well I guess if you do see it online it will be ridiculously priced for 5 to 10 times more that face value. Same thing happened to my Flight of the Conchords tickets I was trying to get today but sold out on ticketmaster. Originally $45 now being sold $85-$400 each! Yikes!

At the NYC Comic Con ‘09 this weekend I took a glimpse of the cutest little Resin Figures.
They are called Soopa Maria Sato and are made to resemble Mario and Luigi but only if they were adorable female Japanese women dressed up.They are from designer and artist Erick Scarecrow and are limited to just 25 pcs world wide. Since these “lil works of art” are limited, you should also know that they are signed and numbered by Mr. Erick Scarecrow himself. They tower only 6.75 inches and go for $90 a pop!
They come in all different assorted colors such as Mario red, Luigi green, multi-color , etc etc. I certainly would shell out $90 if I can get my hands on one of these guys. What a conversation piece!
