It looks like that “exclusive” deal RockStar had with Microsoft for Episodes of Liberty City will soon come to an end. Coming to both PS3 and PC, Episodes of liberty city will arrive just in time for spring with an official release date of March 30th, 2010.
“It’s been a long time coming, but we are proud to finally deliver Episodes From Liberty City for the PC and PlayStation 3,” said Sam Houser. “We appreciate the patience of our PlayStation 3 and PC fans worldwide, and we look forward to putting the games in your hands this March.”
For fans of the Tiger Woods series comes Tiger Woods Grand Theft Auto ‘10. Conan O’Brien presents the video which shows off the incident that took place in Florida and included a 3 Wood. We know that Tiger Woods has admitted his wrong doing with a cocktail waitress but Conan took this too far. Alright, not really, I love when tall Leprechauns make fun of billionaires. That’s all I’ll say about this.

In a leaked document discovered on French website Objectif-sega.com that PlayStation 2 backwards compatibility could be coming to the PSN. In the past, we reported other reports of BC but this “leaked” document listing games is more evidence of it happening. We already know God of War and God of War 2 will be bundled on thier own Blu-Ray disc instead of PSN. But it seems like Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and a Sonic Game will make it’s way to the PSN.
Earlier this year, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars was released to the Nintendo DS as an experiment to see how well the GTA franchise can do on the #1 selling handheld in the world. We gave the title a perfect score, which is something that is very hard to do nowadays.
As we reported a while back, the sales for the title weren’t as ground-breaking as Rockstar Games would have hoped. With that in mind, Rockstar Games officially announced today that GTA Chinatown Wars will be heading to the PSP this fall, but there’s a definite benefit to this version over the Nintendo DS’.
The second downloadable episode of GTA IV will be called ‘Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony’. Rockstar Games has just announced details behind this upcoming DLC exclusively for the Xbox 360.
One of the features RockStar has promised with the release of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars on the DS was Wi-Fi play. Some of the multiplayer modes you’ll find in Wi-Fi Mayhem are; ‘Defend the Base’, which has players co-operatively defending territory against waves of enemy gang members; ‘Stash Dash’, which pits players against each other in a rush to steal a van loaded with contraband and deliver it to their hideout; and the ‘Race’ mode, which lets players floor it to the finish line in any of 20 different courses around Liberty City.
‘M’ rated games on the DS handheld are a risk, says EEDAR’s Jesse Divnich, noting that Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars only managed sales of about 200,000 units in the US last month.
After all the great marketing for Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars it seems like the Nintendo DS was not an appropriate home after all. We loved the game and gave it our first ever 10/10 review. But the preliminary sale figures are in for the month of March, and it wasn’t an impressive showing for CTW. Many analysts say this game will be one of the best rated ‘M’ games available for the Nintendo DS. And with sales figures only around 200,000 units sold in the US alone, something will have to change.
