For those of you who have heard so much about LittleBigPlanet but are afraid to “go all in”, now’s your chance to try it. Thursday’s PSN updates have been released, and with it comes one of PlayStation’s bigger titles, LittleBigPlanet or LBP.
Congratulations America! Another year of Independence! Get those natural casing hot dogs and turkey burgers out and celebrate fourth of July outdoors. We heard that LittleBigPlanet was going to be the “next-big-thing”, and Sony put all their upcoming Easter eggs into one basket with the success of it. When LBP was first released, many new levels were already into the LBP world thanks to the Beta. So we all saw, Super Mario Level 1-1, and other fan favorites. Months have passed and so has the LBP news… until now.
This years Interactive Achievement Awards (IAA) were held in Las Vegas and hosted by comedian Jay Mohr. Guess who sacked up most of the awards?
The LittleBigWinner of the event went to LittleBigPlanet (LBP) collecting on an impressive 8 awards at the 12th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards. LittleBigPlanet is a platform adventure game, made for the PlayStation 3 by Sony Computer Entertainment America, with a vibrant social community enabling gamers to play, create and share their experiences.
Other top games that received recognition were “Computer Game of the Year” Left 4 Dead, “Fighter Game of the Year” Super Smash Bros. Brawl and “Action Game of the Year” winner EA’s Dead Space. Check out the rest of the winners below.
