In Left 4 Dead, you fight your way through level after level of infected people.  But, what if there were infected teletubbies in Left 4 Dead instead?  Then you would reach a whole new level of creepiness.

Left 4 Dead modder flameknight7 placed one of the creepiest kids show characters in the game as a way to remind us that when the inevitable human infection comes, its not just people we’ll be seeing out there with a thirst for human flesh, but also kids morning show characters.

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t see this coming a mile away.  A Left 4 Dead modder has gone ahead and replaced all of the in-game music in Left 4 Dead with Michael Jackson songs.  Thriller is pretty much a given as it’s the only “zombie-themed” song out of Michael Jackson’s entire musical catalog, but here’s a list of some of the other songs that are included in the mod:

• Smooth Criminal
• Beat It
• Billie Jean
• Bad
• Scream

The songs are supposed to replace the musical queues that normally play in certain situations.  For example: If a witch is nearby, the song ‘Billie Jean’ will start playing.  The mod also contains a custom menu which plays the Thriller music video in the background.

Ah… the ESRB.  Thanks to their meddling, tweens around the world need to enter fake birthdays in order to access websites for games they’re going to beg their parents and / or cooler older brother to buy for them since there are a ton of awesome games that are rated M.  It looks like they found the original Left 4 Dead boxart a little too… illegal?

According to the L4D Blog, it seems the ESRB had a problem with the original box art.  The original concept was supposed to have the fingers look like they were bitten off, but for some strange reason, the ESRB cited that it was illegal to take pictures of people biting off their fingers. So, Valve did some photoshop trickery to give them the look they were aiming for while appeasing the ESRB gods.

In Left 4 Dead, you fight wave after wave of infected in order to survive to live to tell the tale.  Thanks to a recently released “nude mod” that was created specifically for Zoey, the fight is to get that hot little piece of A safe and sound.

You read right folks.  A nude mod was created for Zoey by Zaigo from L4DMods. If anything, I’m surprised there wasn’t a mod created a week after Left 4 Dead’s release.  I guess Zaigo put that much extra love and care into this particular mod.  For all of you people who might think poor ole Zoey might catch something else running around naked, no worries.  She still has a bit of clothing on which will be essential to the war effort.

[UPDATE] – The PC Left 4 Dead DLC is out NOW! (see below for details)

If you’ve been waiting for Valve’s Left 4 Dead DLC, Survival Pack, available now you can download the Downloadable Content.  Available as of 5 AM EST / 2 AM PST the latest DLC will be available for FREE.

A new multiplayer game mode entitled, Survival, plus two complete campaigns for Versus Mode should get gamers back into the L4D saddle. For those with the PC versions, your update for the DLC will came later today.  Did I mention that both of these DLC’s will be FREE OF CHARGE?

Shaving Ryan’s Privates. Pulp Friction. White Men Can’t Hump. The porn industry has always had an unwritten responsibility to take popular movie titles and give them a certain spin that you can’t help but appreciate.

It seems Valve’s Left 4 Dead is the latest piece of IP to receive the honor of having a porn spoof.  The thing is, Left 4 Dead isn’t a big blockbuster movie.  Instead, it was a sleeper hit video game that came out last year for the PC & Xbox 360. I’m sure we’ve all seen pictures of Ron Jeremy dressed up as Mario, but I believe this is the first time a porno has spoofed a video game.
