
Well, well, well. Why, hello there Lost Planet 2 screens. You’re looking mighty fiiiine.
Capcom recently released a slew of updated Lost Planet 2 screens and from what I’ve seen, it seems like Lost Planet 2 is going to be a much bigger game than it’s predecessor. If you’ve played Lost Planet, then you know that is quite a feat as that game was not only huge, but the Akrid were quite a challenge as they were sometime 10x bigger than Wayne was! Throw in it’s addictive multiplayer & new co-op mode, and I could see myself playing this for a long time once it’s released this winter.

We spoke about Lost Planet 2 a couple of times on PerezStart, and we are really excited about this next bit of news. It seems that the Lost Planet 2 demo will be ‘coming soon’ according to the game’s producer, Jun Takeuchi. During Famitsu’s “Midnight Live 360″, Takeuchi-san disclosed that the demo journalists played during E3 would be released to the masses.

The E3 goodness keeps a-comin’ with the latest gameplay trailer for Lost Planet 2. In the trailer, we see tons of action, explosions, and a death defying leap onto a train. It seems this time around, Lost Planet won’t be an issolated experience as you are fighting your way with a squad to make your way through the game.
As of now, little is known of the game, but the team who worked on the original Lost Planet has learned a lot from customer feedback on what gamers like / disliked about the game and they’re promising vast improvements.

Many who’ve played Lost Planet 1 knew that a sequels was coming, and with Capcom’s latest “Top Secret” announcement it’s official. This WAS the top secret Game Announcement that many were awaiting. So for those with an Xbox Live Account, go get the new Trailer now.
But here’s what you can expect from Lost Planet 2. There has been a climate change which leads to the melting of some of the planet’s snowy regions, creating new jungle areas. There will also be a co-op mode, portable cover, mechs with passenger seats and turrets, possible squad-based gameplay and a story that focuses on several characters as opposed to just one.
