Sony’s PSN series of The Tester has been live since February 18th and I can’t believe I missed this piece of internet gold. While I didn’t realize this song had anything to do with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 until Luger removed that stupid yellow trucker hat off her head and some lyrics about dropping bombs. This video screams “obnoxious” and the fact that Luger is a 3 doesn’t help her cause.
With most popular online multiplayer games, there are going to be some secrets that most people aren’t aware of. For example: Did you know you could blow up a vehicle just by jumping on it? Or possibly being able to use a riot shield to save yourself from a falling supply crate?
Defend The House put together two great videos showcasing some popular Modern Warfare 2 myths. Who knows if these “myths” will ever be fixed with a patch one day, but for now, enjoy all of the things you could possibly do right now in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
The NPD sale figures are in for the month of November. And with no surprise, Modern Warfare 2 tops the list and sells over 6 million copies across the Xbox 360 and PS3 console. Easily breaking numerous records, Infinity Ward’s MW2 toppled Reggie Fils-Aime predictionthat Super Mario Bros. Wii would outsell the first-person shooter. SMB Wii did make an appearance in the third spot. Check out who else made the NPD Video Game sales for November.
If you’re familiar with the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Javelin glitch and own a PlayStation 3, have no fear. According to a Sony rep on CVG, they are not banning players who are exploiting the bug. Which means, until Infinity Ward pathces the PS3, keep the cheats coming and enjoy killing all those around you . Now XBox 360 players on the other hand, should fear Microsoft and their minions on the look out for glitch abusers. As they WILL be temporarily banning players who exploit the Javelin Glitch. Want to learn how? Should we show you guys how it’s done? Alright you pulled my leg… Check out the video below:
Everyone knows multiplayer is the bread and butter of the Call of Duty’s franchise. So naturally, there’s a good reason why they’ve been using the same engine since Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Reliable gameplay. But this time Infinity Ward stepped up to the plate and brought their “A” game with Modern Warfare 2 and of course bettered a great game. This fast paced First Person Shooter is the continuation of COD4 with upgraded lighting, textures and visuals. The easier to navigate menu shows you one of three gametype choices and proves it’s not all just about multiplayer anymore. Special Ops, Campaign and Multiplayer modes all provide a different slice of MW2. In our first ever group review, Aaron Mazza, Carlos Macias and I will break down Special Ops, Campaign and Multiplayer mode respectively. We know the term “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it” but did Infinity Ward and Activision raise the bar?
If you’re like me, you’ve been spending an insane amount of time playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 since its release. But, how many of you out there have ever played the original Call of Duty? You’re in luck because the game that started it all is going to be released on the PlayStation Network & Xbox LIVE Arcade this week!

Not a fan of spoilers? Then you may want to skip the above Modern Warfare 2 video that “everyones” talking about. In this highly controversial scene you’ll understand why most gamers who have seen and even played this level of MW2 are a bit traumatized.
Infinity Ward’s latest Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 trailer is… interesting. It does show some gameplay footage, but for the most part it’s a PSA to ‘Fight Against Grenade Spam’, or F.A.G.S. for short. Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels tells us random grenade throwing are, “for pussies”. It’s kind of strange he’s suddenly included in the PSA, but I believe it was to tie in with the World Series that’s currently underway.
With the amount of anticipation for Modern Warfare 2, I don’t think this was a smart move on the part of Infinity Ward. Yes, we all hate random grenades. If you think about it though, aren’t all grenades that kill you random to the one getting killed? You never expect them, but then when you hear it, you’re for the most part surprised.
What are your thoughts? You think this trailer was over-the-top, or do you think it’s just right for Modern Warfare 2?
We’re only a few weeks away for the epic release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Here are 8 fantastic screenshots that mostly Xbox 360 and PS3 owners will appreciate. As far as you PC gamers, you’re probably still upset over the non-dedicated server issue.
