
Patapon 2 was first going to be released as a PSP game via disc, then the US decided to go down the digital download road instead. This can very well be the first of many digital downloads expected to hit the PSN store for upcoming PSP titles.
For you Guitar Hero fans, for once you’ll be able to download a set of three FREE songs for Guitar Hero World Tour.
And you can see PSone classics also hit the PSN Store this week with R-Type and Spyro 2. Classics will always make a second appearance if requested…

Now LIVE via PSN Thursday update, will be Firmware 2.70. It’s an update many have waited for since it will feature an all new Text Chat feature system. If you’ve used messages to chat back and forth with your friends on your PS3, you knew it was quite cumbersome. Text Chat allows for easier chatting during gameplay as well as waiting in the PSN lobby.

Queen Tracks for Guitar Hero World Tour make the cut this week. Playable games worth checking out are Worms and Burn Zombie Burn! Burn Zombie Burn! is a third-person shoot’em-up in the classic coin-op tradition but with all new mechanics. The goal is simple: to get the highest score possible. Standing in your way is a never ending horde of undead. To survive you must shoot, burn and explode as many zombies as possible before they overwhelm you.

The price tag is a bit high, but if you can’t get enough of Pat Sajak, money means nothing to you.
