When it comes to playing a Mario game, power-ups are usually something that most people take for granted. I mean, the various costumes that Mario comes across allow Mario to do some amazing things like shoot fire, fly through the air, or even breathe underwater.
Artist Glen Brogan put together this amazing piece of art showcasing all of Mario’s costumes he’s come across throughout all of his travels. The attention to detail in this piece is also amazing as Glen even goes so far as to include the exact hats & shoes to go along with an outfit.

I’ve heard a lot of different remixes of some beloved old-school songs, but this is the first time I heard a remake rock this hard. What makes the video more badass is how the artists, during their jam session, decide to play a little Mario with the lights off! That takes this video…. TO THE EXTREEEEME!!

No, I’m not going to talk about the munchkin in the back of “Wizard of Oz” who supposedly hangs himself from the tree. Not also talking about how there is a ghost in the window in “3 Men and a Baby” who died in that house. Not Bigfoot or Loch Ness. I’m talking Video Games…. I’m talking Urban Legends in Video Games.

When I think of India, all I think of are how that country depends on Americans to break their computers so we can give them a call in order to be told obvious ways to fix it like making sure it’s plugged in or not. But according to this latest video to hit the internets, it seems India not only has talent, but there is a TV show dedicated to showing off said talent. I know! I was surprised too!
The talent in this video isn’t to see how many times they can make their customers irate over the phone within 15 minutes, but instead, it’s a recreation of Super Mario Bros. It so happens that Cuban borders are now open thanks to Mr. Obama. What does that means to Cuban folk residing there? Well, just now they have stumbled upon the video game world, thanks to Fidel shunning poor Cubans to all that is fun and holy. The first video gamed reviewed is Super. Mario Bros, by immigrant friend, Luigi Santa Rosa Bacalao. A good friend of Destructoid’s, I hope perhaps Perezstart can befriend him as one because A. He is freaking hilarious and B. The writers at Perezstart, incuding myself are of Cuban descent. If you know Spanish, awesome if you don’t sucks to be you because the following clip is in Spanish! Oh, my beloved Mario Bros., we all grew up and looked up to you guys, even now and day we do. Many a kid aspired to be a fat or skinny Italian plumber from Brooklyn when they grew up. Not just any Italian plumber but one that can shoot fireballs, turn into a raccoon, get super sized and ride a Yoshi, as all plumbers do. So why, my dear Lord why do I have to see the Mario Bros. in this light! Parents avert your children’s eyes with this one it is going to be a wild ride as you find out , the horrible truth of the Bros. not being Bros. at all and what happens after they find this out after a blood results test.
Mario fans and tattoo fans, do I have a treat for you! You know you must be hardcore when you feature Mario Piranha’s and bombs on your person 24/7! This has to be one of the coolest tattoos I have seen in a while. The Artist is Eliza Casarjian at the Painted Bird Tattoo and the model is Eve the Demoness. Now, I myself love me some art but the needles not to much! Who knows though, maybe I will muster up some courage to put a little Mario star or Goomba on a discreet place one day in the future!
