Dreamcast VMU and iPod Nano Finally Fused

When I think of the Dreamcast’s VMU (Visual Memory Unit), I have a lot of fond memories considering how advanced it was for its time.  I mean, not only did it contain all of your save game data, but depending on the game, it also was used to show information from the game you were playing. As cool as the VMU was originally, I don’t think it holds a candle to this iPod nano that was built into a VMU shell.

As you’ll see in the video below, the iPod nano is small enough to fit inside the SEGA Dreamcast’s VMU shell, although none of the buttons on the VMU shell interact with the iPod nano. All I know is that this will make me seriously consider buying an iPod nano just for the sake of nostalgia!
