A sequel for Microsoft’s hugely popular Crackdown was announced today during Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference.  Crackdown 2 is being worked on by  newly announced developer Ruffian Games and not the original devs, Realtime Worlds.

In Crackdown, co-op was a huge factor, especially since you were able to easily drop in and drop out of games, Crackdown 2 will allow players to also face off against each other in competitive play with up to 16 players.
